{"id":68816,"date":"2025-03-23T13:53:26","date_gmt":"2025-03-23T08:53:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=68816"},"modified":"2025-03-23T13:53:26","modified_gmt":"2025-03-23T08:53:26","slug":"palestinian-students-from-gaza-arrive-in-karachi-to-pursue-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/palestinian-students-from-gaza-arrive-in-karachi-to-pursue-education\/","title":{"rendered":"Palestinian students from Gaza arrive in Karachi to pursue education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: A group of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pm-sehebaz-approves-establishment-of-pms-relief-fund-for-palestine-lebanon\/\">Palestinian students<\/a> from Gaza have arrived in Karachi to continue their studies <span class=\"diff-highlight\">since<\/span> educational institutions in their war-torn homeland <span class=\"diff-highlight\">are<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">ruins<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Seven <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> students have already landed in Karachi, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> another group <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> expected to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">arrive<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> Karachi <span class=\"diff-highlight\">shortly<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The students will <span class=\"diff-highlight\">enroll<\/span> in <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">university<\/span> across <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Karachi<\/span>, with the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/first-palestinian-medical-students-batch-arrive-in-pakistan-to-continue-studies\/\"> Al-Khidmat<\/a> welfare organization\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">providing<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> their educational and living expenses.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time Palestinian students have <span class=\"diff-highlight\">come<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> Pakistan <span class=\"diff-highlight\">seeking<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">refuge<\/span> to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">reach<\/span> their <span class=\"diff-highlight\">educational<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">goals<\/span>. Last October, 27 Palestinian medical students from Gaza <span class=\"diff-highlight\">came<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> Lahore to continue their <span class=\"diff-highlight\">education<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">Of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">note<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/pmdc-bans-registration-of-new-medical-dental-colleges\/\"> Pakistan Medical and Dental Council<\/a> (PMDC) has <span class=\"diff-highlight\">granted<\/span> special permission for these students <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">practice<\/span>, and it <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> expected that around 100 <span class=\"diff-highlight\">medics<\/span> and dental students <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">make<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">their<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">way<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">from<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Gaza<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Pakistan<\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: A group of Palestinian students from Gaza have arrived in Karachi to continue their studies since educational institutions in their war-torn homeland are in ruins.
