The provincial education department received <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">huge<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">number<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">applications<\/span> from <span class=\"diff-highlight\">candidates<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">looking<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">jobs<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">public<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">school<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to the applications received within the total number of applicants 395,000 are women and 470,000 <span class=\"diff-highlight\">are<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">men<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">mind<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">boggling<\/span> 406 <span class=\"diff-highlight\">as<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/islamabad\/phd-student-allegedly-dies-due-to-qau-islamabad-administrations-negligance\/\">PhD degree<\/a> holders.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, 7,161 <span class=\"diff-highlight\">disabled<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">candidates<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> and four transgender candidates applied <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">these<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">posts<\/span>. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> education department <span class=\"diff-highlight\">has<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">promised<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">that<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">it<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">would<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> a transparent and merit-based process<span class=\"diff-highlight\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">Thus<\/span>, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">they<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">hope<\/span> that <span class=\"diff-highlight\">candidates<\/span> deserving <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">job<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">fact<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">offered<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">contract<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Over 218,000\u00a0PhD holders\u00a0applied for primary and secondary school teachers\u2019 jobs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).<\/p>\n<p>As per the details, in KP, a staggering 218, 088 PhD holders have submitted applications for teaching positions at primary and secondary schools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a total of 867,000 candidates applied for 16,454 available posts in government schools.
