{"id":69103,"date":"2025-03-26T15:28:11","date_gmt":"2025-03-26T10:28:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=69103"},"modified":"2025-03-26T15:28:11","modified_gmt":"2025-03-26T10:28:11","slug":"visa-fraud-involving-the-time-immigration-uncovered-in-islamabad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/visa-fraud-involving-the-time-immigration-uncovered-in-islamabad\/","title":{"rendered":"Visa fraud involving &#8216;The Time Immigration&#8217; uncovered in Islamabad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: A massive<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/visa-scandal-millions-of-fake-visas-issued-by-pakistani-embassy-fueling-illegal-afghan-influx\/\"> visa fraud<\/a> has been <span class=\"diff-highlight\">uncovered<\/span> in Islamabad, with <span class=\"diff-highlight\">more<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">than<\/span> 600 citizens <span class=\"diff-highlight\">reportedly<\/span> defrauded of millions of rupees by The Time Immigration.<\/p>\n<p>The company, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">run<\/span> by Usman Pervez Chaudhry and CEO Junaid Butt, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">lured<\/span> victims <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">opportunity<\/span> to work in Saudi Arabia, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">while<\/span> instead <span class=\"diff-highlight\">taking<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">large<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">sums<\/span> of <span class=\"diff-highlight\">cash<\/span> and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> documents from <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">victims<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The scam involved collecting advance money, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pakistan-cancels-passports-of-4700-citizens-imprisoned-in-uae-for-criminal-activities\/\">original passports<\/a>, degrees, medical documents, and protection fees from the victims.<\/p>\n<p>In the first phase of the fraud, over 500,000 rupees were taken from 150 people, each with the promise of sending them to Saudi Arabia before Eid. However, the company&#8217;s office was found closed with a notice of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/currency-rates\/eid-ul-fitr-likely-to-fall-on-march-31-says-suparco\/\">Eid holidays<\/a>, leaving the victims in distress.<\/p>\n<p>According to the details, more than 8 people are involved in the hineous crime which have been identified as Wajahat Hussain, Zainab Bibi, Nayab Kanwal, Aiman \u200b\u200bBashir, Maham, and Maham. The office staff of The Time Immigration even contacted victims via WhatsApp, with Malik Wajahat sending a message saying, &#8220;Keys have been placed above the door, take your documents and passports.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But upon inquiry, the people quickly realised that they had been scammed.
