{"id":69311,"date":"2025-03-28T21:54:06","date_gmt":"2025-03-28T16:54:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=69311"},"modified":"2025-03-28T21:54:06","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T16:54:06","slug":"punjab-cm-maryam-launches-free-tractor-scheme-for-1000-farmers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/punjab-cm-maryam-launches-free-tractor-scheme-for-1000-farmers\/","title":{"rendered":"Punjab CM Maryam launches free tractor scheme for 1000 farmers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/health\/punjab-cm-maryam-orders-free-treatment-for-aids-affected-children\/\">Maryam Nawaz Sharif<\/a> has launched the &#8216;CM Punjab Wheat Incentive Program&#8217;, which includes a scheme to provide 1,000 free tractors to wheat farmers.<\/p>\n<p>Under this program, 55-horsepower tractors will be given free of cost to 1,000 successful farmers selected through a digital <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/cm-punjab-maryam-nawaz-unveils-free-tractor-scheme-for-farmers\/\">balloting process<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The first tractor was awarded to Kausar Parveen, a female farmer from Bahawalnagar.<\/p>\n<p>CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated the successful farmers, including Muhammad Iqbal from Jhang and Salman Ahmed from Mandi Bahauddin.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative is part of the Punjab government&#8217;s efforts to support farmers and increase wheat production in the province.<\/p>\n<p>The government has also launched other projects, such as the Green Tractor, Kisan Card, and Super Seeder schemes, to uplift farmers.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 57,733 farmers applied for the free tractor scheme, and 21,496 were found eligible for the balloting process.<\/p>\n<p>All selected farmers will receive their tractors within three months.
