{"id":69372,"date":"2025-03-29T19:51:28","date_gmt":"2025-03-29T14:51:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=69372"},"modified":"2025-03-29T19:51:28","modified_gmt":"2025-03-29T14:51:28","slug":"eid-2025-moon-sighting-latest-update-in-pakistan-shawwal-crescent-timing-confirmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/eid-2025-moon-sighting-latest-update-in-pakistan-shawwal-crescent-timing-confirmed\/","title":{"rendered":"Eid 2025 moon sighting latest update in Pakistan: Shawwal crescent timing confirmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/ruet-e-hilal-committee-to-meet-on-april-2-for-ramadan-moon-sighting\/\">Research Ruet-e-Hilal Council<\/a> has made an important announcement regarding the sighting of the Shawwal moon, which will mark the end of Ramadan and the beginning of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/murree-authorities-announce-traffic-plan-for-eid-ul-fitr-2025\/\">Eid-ul-Fitr 2025<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">As per the details, the council said that the sighting of the Shawwal moon will be at 3:58 pm today, Saturday.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> The moon will be more than 26 hours old at sunset on Sunday, it added, adding that the difference between sunset and moonrise will be between 69 and 78 minutes.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The difference between sunset and moonrise in Karachi is 69 minutes, in Gwadar 71 minutes, in Quetta and Lahore 74 minutes, while in Gilgit-Baltistan there will be a difference of 78 minutes.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> There is a strong possibility that Eid-ul-Fitr will be on March 31 across Pakistan.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">However, the final announcement will be made by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Ruet-e-Hilal Committee meeting update<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet tomorrow, March 30, in Islamabad to sight the moon of Shawwal 1446 AH.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Maulana Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad will preside over the meeting.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Separate meetings of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees will also be held at their respective headquarters to sight the moon of Eid-ul-Fitr.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 Holidays <\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The federal government has issued a notification of holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr 2025. According to the notification issued by the Cabinet Division, the holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr 2025 will be from Monday (March 31) to April 2.
