{"id":69475,"date":"2025-03-30T23:46:40","date_gmt":"2025-03-30T18:46:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=69475"},"modified":"2025-03-30T23:47:09","modified_gmt":"2025-03-30T18:47:09","slug":"14-injured-in-aerial-firing-during-chand-raat-celebrations-in-karachi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/14-injured-in-aerial-firing-during-chand-raat-celebrations-in-karachi\/","title":{"rendered":"14 injured in aerial firing during Chand Raat celebrations in Karachi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">KARACHI: At least 14 people, including women and children, were injured in <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/eidul-fitr-2025-punjab-imposes-ban-on-mechanical-rides-for-public-safety\/\">aerial firing ceremonies in Karachi<\/a> after the sighting of the Shawwal moon.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">According to reports, heavy aerial firing was carried out in several areas including Qasba New Mianwali Colony, North Nazimabad Hyderi Market, Orangi Qasba Mor, Frontier Colony, Lyari Hangora Abad, Ranchhor Line Ramswamy, Orangi Town Sector 11 near Farooq Azam Mosque.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Among the injured, a 9-year-old girl, Asiya, was hit by a stray bullet in Orangi Town Qasba Mor, while 35-year-old Nausheen was injured in Orangi Town Sector 11. An 11-year-old girl, Iram, was also wounded. In Nazimabad No. 1, a man named Mansoor was hit, and 16-year-old Waheed was injured in Baldia Qaumkhani Colony. Other victims included 11-year-old Ayan in Lyari and an unidentified person in Baldia Gulshan Mazdoor.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz JpY6Fd\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">All the injured have been shifted to the hospital and their condition is said to be stable.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"jCAhz JpY6Fd\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> Meanwhile, Manghopir police arrested the accused who fired in the air on Chand Raat red-handed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">SSP West Tariq Elahi Mastoi said that the accused was caught involved in the deadly act while firing in the air in Sultanabad Manghopir.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: At least 14 people, including women and children, were injured in aerial firing ceremonies in Karachi after the sighting of the Shawwal moon.
