RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir<\/a> chaired the 268th Corps Commanders Conference (CCC) at General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi on Friday.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In a statement issued, the army\u2019s media wing said, the forum offered Fateha and paid tribute to the great sacrifices of the martyrs of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies and civilians who laid down their lives for peace and stability in the country.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The forum was given a comprehensive briefing on the current geo-strategic environment, emerging national security challenges and Pakistan\u2019s strategic response to emerging threats.<\/span><\/span> Taking a close look at the regional and internal security dynamics, the forum reiterated its resolve to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations regardless of the cost.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It reiterated Pakistan\u2019s unwavering resolve to bring the full might of the state against the facilitators and abettors of hostile elements seeking to destabilize the country.<\/span><\/span> The Forum reiterated that no one will be allowed to disturb peace in Balochistan and the nefarious designs of the social disruptors and their so-called political supporters, including foreign patrons, at the cost of Balochistan\u2019s stability and prosperity will be decisively thwarted with the unwavering support of the people of Balochistan and, God willing, the genuine support of all foreigners.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Domestic elements, their nexus and attempts to spread chaos are fully exposed and will be dealt with without any exception.<\/span><\/span> Stressing the need for the swift and effective implementation of the Vision Azam-e-Istiqama under the ambit of the National Action Plan (NAP), the Forum stressed the need for a whole-of-nation approach.<\/span><\/span> State institutions and organizations will strictly implement the law within the ambit of the Constitution and there will be no leniency or negligence.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The COAS appreciated the launch of District Coordination Committees across Pakistan and stressed the need for sustained, coordinated efforts in line with government directives to expedite the implementation of the NAP, ensuring seamless inter-agency cooperation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Army Chief reiterated, \u201cThe Pakistan Army will provide full support to the government and Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) in implementing stringent legal measures against illicit economic activities, which are intrinsically linked to the financing of terrorism. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There is no place for terrorists and their facilitators in Pakistan.\u201d<\/span><\/span> Expressing deep concern over the continued and gross human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) and the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian Army along the Line of Control (LoC), the Forum stressed that \u201cPakistan stands deeply and unwaveringly with the just and Kashmiri people of Jammu and Kashmir. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

T<\/span><\/span>here is a need for sustained diplomatic engagement to highlight the ongoing human rights violations and abuses at the global level.\u201d The Forum expressed its full solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemned the grave human rights violations and war crimes in Gaza. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Forum also reiterated its unequivocal diplomatic, political and moral support to the Palestinian people. Finally, the COAS directed the field commanders to maintain the highest standards of operational readiness and professionalism, and ensure rigorous training to maintain peak combat readiness.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
