The<\/span> Deputy<\/span> Prime<\/span> Minister<\/span> recognized<\/span> the country’s considerable<\/span> natural resources<\/a>, including large<\/span> amounts<\/span> of<\/span> gold and copper, and added<\/span> that the youth demographic<\/span> is one<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> country<\/span>\u2019<\/span>s<\/span> biggest<\/span> assets<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The overarching<\/span> purpose<\/span> of<\/span> holding<\/span> the<\/span> forum is<\/span> to bring<\/span> global investment into<\/span> the mining sector and<\/span> promote<\/span> specific<\/span> major projects such<\/span> as<\/span> Reko Diq, which<\/span> is<\/span> one of the largest undeveloped copper-gold projects in<\/span> the<\/span> world<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Reko<\/span> Diq<\/span> is<\/span> located<\/span> in the Chagai district of the<\/span> province<\/span> of<\/span> Balochistan<\/span> and<\/span> offers<\/span> substantial<\/span> investment and growth opportunities<\/span>. Interestingly<\/span>, that<\/span> district is<\/span> facing<\/span> underdevelopment and lacks<\/span> infrastructure<\/span> and<\/span> basic services like education, healthcare, and clean water.<\/p>\n
