href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pdma-issues-alert-as-rain-snowfall-continue-in-murree\/\">Provincial Disaster Management Authority<\/a> (PDMA) Punjab has <span class=\"diff-highlight\">provided<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">instructions<\/span> to departments <span class=\"diff-highlight\">regarding<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">advanced<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">preparation<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">plans<\/span> for <span class=\"diff-highlight\">emergencies<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">heat<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">rising<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">temperature<\/span> and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">predicted<\/span> heatwave.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> province <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> expected to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">experience<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> rise <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">temperature<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> 4-7 degrees <span class=\"diff-highlight\">centigrade<\/span> this month, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">especially<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">districts<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> southern Punjab<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">where<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">potential<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/weather\/pmd-issues-heatwave-advisory-for-several-sindh-district\/\">extreme heat<\/a> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">greater<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> PDMA has <span class=\"diff-highlight\">also<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">instructed<\/span> deputy commissioners to ensure <span class=\"diff-highlight\">that<\/span> public <span class=\"diff-highlight\">places<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">have<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">measures<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">place<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">protect<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">public.<\/span> The <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/district-education-discontinues-second-shift-in-public-schools\/\">School Education Department<\/a> has suspended outdoor activities for <span class=\"diff-highlight\">students<\/span>, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">schools<\/span> in Lahore <span class=\"diff-highlight\">have<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">been<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">asked<\/span> to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">put<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">up<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">signs<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">at<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">entrances<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">information<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">on<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">heat<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">precaution<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">precautions<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The Health Department has <span class=\"diff-highlight\">also<\/span> been <span class=\"diff-highlight\">tasked<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">establishing<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">operating<\/span> dedicated <span class=\"diff-highlight\">heat<\/span> counters in hospitals to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">manage<\/span> heat-related cases <span class=\"diff-highlight\">effectively<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Citizens <span class=\"diff-highlight\">have<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">also<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">been<\/span> advised to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">stay<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">inside<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">when<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">possible<\/span> during <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">hottest<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">part<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">day<\/span>, stay hydrated, and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">remain<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">protected<\/span> from the sun by <span class=\"diff-highlight\">using<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">head<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">covering<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">or<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">umbrella.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0local government department <span class=\"diff-highlight\">was<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">also<\/span> asked <span class=\"diff-highlight\">that<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">there<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> water <span class=\"diff-highlight\">available<\/span> at public <span class=\"diff-highlight\">gatherings<\/span> and water supply <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">animals<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> livestock markets. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">In<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">support<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">farmers<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">they<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">have<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">been<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">warned<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">about<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">potential<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">heat<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">impacts<\/span> on crops<span class=\"diff-highlight\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">District<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">animal<\/span> care centres have <span class=\"diff-highlight\">also<\/span> been instructed to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">function<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">around<\/span> the clock.
