{"id":70119,"date":"2025-04-09T10:31:51","date_gmt":"2025-04-09T05:31:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=70119"},"modified":"2025-04-09T10:31:51","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T05:31:51","slug":"pmd-forecasts-strong-rain-winds-in-islamabad-punjab-kp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/weather\/pmd-forecasts-strong-rain-winds-in-islamabad-punjab-kp\/","title":{"rendered":"PMD forecasts strong rain, winds in Islamabad, Punjab, KP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/weather\/pmd-issues-heatwave-advisory-for-several-sindh-district\/\"> Pakistan Meteorological Department<\/a> (PMD) has <span class=\"diff-highlight\">predicted<\/span> rain and thunderstorms in <span class=\"diff-highlight\">some<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">areas<\/span> of the country.<\/p>\n<p>According to the latest <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/weather\/lahore-weather-mercury-likely-to-hit-40-degrees-in-provincial-capital\/\">weather update<\/a>, Upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and North-East Balochistan are <span class=\"diff-highlight\">likely<\/span> to be partly cloudy<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> with <span class=\"diff-highlight\">rain<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">occur<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">along<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> strong winds, thundershowers, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> hailstorms in <span class=\"diff-highlight\">many<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">regions<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">weather<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> Islamabad and surrounding <span class=\"diff-highlight\">regions<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> partly cloudy<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> with rain, winds, and thundershowers and hailstorms <span class=\"diff-highlight\">potentially<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">happening<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">Most<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">districts<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> Punjab <span class=\"diff-highlight\">are<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">expected<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">mostly<\/span> hot and dry<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">but<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">it<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">partly<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">cloudy<\/span>, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">weather<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">occurring<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">upper<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Punjab<\/span>, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">also<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, and Lahore.<\/p>\n<p>Khyber Pakhtunkhwa <span class=\"diff-highlight\">expects<\/span> the\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">weather<\/span> to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">windy<\/span> and rainy with thundershowers in Chitral, Dir, Swat, and Peshawar. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Meanwhile<\/span>, Sindh will remain extremely hot and dry, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> Balochistan will <span class=\"diff-highlight\">have<\/span> dry weather\u00a0with rising temperatures in <span class=\"diff-highlight\">most<\/span> southern districts.<\/p>\n<p>Whereas, Zhob and Quetta <span class=\"diff-highlight\">possibly<\/span> may <span class=\"diff-highlight\">have<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">windy<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">weather<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> rain in the afternoon. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Most<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> Kashmir\u00a0and Gilgit-Baltistan <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> remain partly cloudy<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> with rain and strong winds <span class=\"diff-highlight\">occurring<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">some<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">areas<\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted rain and thunderstorms in some areas of the country.
