The <span class=\"diff-highlight\">assailants<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">managed<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">escape<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">right<\/span> after the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">incident<\/span>, and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">police<\/span> have launched <span class=\"diff-highlight\">an<\/span> investigation <span class=\"diff-highlight\">into<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">arresting<\/span> the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">suspects<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The police have registered a case against unidentified individuals and are <span class=\"diff-highlight\">gathering<\/span> evidence and witness statements to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">assist<\/span> in <span class=\"diff-highlight\">their<\/span> investigation. The <span class=\"diff-highlight\">police<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">have<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">launched<\/span> a massive manhunt, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">all<\/span> law enforcement agencies <span class=\"diff-highlight\">are<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">committed<\/span> to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">bringing<\/span> the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">suspects<\/span> to justice.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">deceased<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">officials<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">were<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">honored<\/span> and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">paid<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">condolences<\/span>, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> funeral prayers <span class=\"diff-highlight\">conducted<\/span> at Police Line Peshawar. A police contingent <span class=\"diff-highlight\">presented<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">their<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">honors<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> the deceased, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">putting<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">flowers<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">as<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">tribute<\/span> to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">brave<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">honorable<\/span> sacrifice.<\/p>\n<p>Senior police and excise <span class=\"diff-highlight\">officials<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">other<\/span> colleagues <span class=\"diff-highlight\">honored<\/span> the martyred officials.
