LAHORE: The United Arab Emirates<\/a> has established<\/span> a new requirement for applicants<\/span> from<\/span> Pakistan<\/span> seeking<\/span> UAE<\/span> visas.<\/span> All<\/span> applicants<\/span> must<\/span> obtain<\/span> a police character certificate to ensure<\/span> no<\/span> crimes may<\/span> be<\/span> committed<\/span> in foreign<\/span> countries<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The<\/span> character<\/span> certificate is required<\/span> for travel into<\/span> the UAE,<\/span> as<\/span> well<\/span> as<\/span> for jobs abroad, immigration purposes,<\/span> etc<\/span>. Punjab Police<\/span> Khidmat<\/span> Markaz<\/span><\/a> (<\/span>PKM<\/span>)<\/span> has<\/span> made<\/span> applying<\/span> for<\/span> a<\/span> police<\/span> character<\/span> certificate<\/span> in<\/span> Punjab,<\/span> Pakistan<\/span>,<\/span> much<\/span> easier<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Application<\/span> can now be<\/span> submitted<\/span> from any PKM center in<\/span> Punjab<\/span>;<\/span> the individual<\/span> does<\/span> not<\/span> have<\/span> to visit the district or address in<\/span> person<\/span> the character<\/span> certificate is required for<\/span>.<\/p>\n

For example<\/span>, someone<\/span> who<\/span> lived<\/span> in Mianwali<\/span> would<\/span> simply<\/span> apply for the<\/span> certificate from PKM<\/span> in<\/span> Multan<\/span> (<\/span>where they now<\/span> reside<\/span>)<\/span> and<\/span> the police<\/span> would<\/span> receive<\/span> their<\/span> application<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Required Documents<\/a><\/h2>\n

To obtain Character certificate, person is required to have Original CNIC or B-form and its photocopies, Original and copy of a passport, affidavit, photographs, and an authority letter if applicant is living abroad<\/p>\n

Authority letter with the stamp of relevant Embassy will be accepted, otherwise it should be attested by two respectable persons who are known to the applicant. The duration of applicant stay should also be mentioned in the authority letter.<\/p>\n

If applicant is out of country, the form can be submitted by any blood relative \u00a0with authority letter of the applicant.<\/p>\n

Police Character Certificate Fee\u00a0<\/a><\/h2>\n

The fee for Police Character Certificate for year 2025 \u00a0is fixed Rs500 and it can be deposited at any counter of the Khidmat Markaz.<\/p>\n

The applicant will be issued the certificate within three working days.<\/p>\n
