{"id":70616,"date":"2025-04-14T16:27:58","date_gmt":"2025-04-14T11:27:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=70616"},"modified":"2025-04-14T16:27:58","modified_gmt":"2025-04-14T11:27:58","slug":"nab-files-reference-against-nine-accused-in-e-11-illegal-land-allotment-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nab-files-reference-against-nine-accused-in-e-11-illegal-land-allotment-case\/","title":{"rendered":"NAB files reference against nine accused in E-11 illegal land allotment case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Court (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/health\/kp-okays-cannabis-framework-for-medical-industrial-sectors\/\">NAB<\/a>) has filed a reference against nine accused in a case related to alleged misappropriation and illegal allotment of land in Islamabad&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pm-shehbaz-orders-inquiry-on-npfs-alleged-plot-irregularities-in-islamabad\/\">sector E-11<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As per details, the accused includes the concerned Patwari and relevant former officers of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/cda-clarifies-f-11-playground-use-progress-indoor-cricket-facility\/\">Capital Development Authority (CDA)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Former Director of Land CDA Khalid Mahmood, Shaista Sohail, Raja Zahid Hussain, and Syed Ghulam Hassamuddin were named as accused.<\/p>\n<p>Syed Ghulam Najmuddin Gilani, Syed Ghulam Shamsuddin Gilani, Syed Ghulam Nizamuddin Gilani, and Syed Ghulam Mohiuddin Gilani were also included among the accused.<\/p>\n<p><em>Daily Ausaf\u00a0<\/em>learned that the\u00a0Registrar Office has started to scrutinise illegal land allotment references, and after it, the reference consisting of 8 pages will be sent to the court for the hearing.<\/p>\n<p>The reference stated that the authority has taken notice of the illegal allotment based on a source report.<\/p>\n<p>It added that the inquiry was approved on April 20, 2016, and the inquiry was converted into a regular investigation on June 8, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Former CDA officers illegally allotted government land to the accused and received benefits in return, the reference added.<\/p>\n<p>During the investigation, on February 21, 2024, Ghulam Hasamuddin and three other women applied for a plea bargain.
