The victims&#8217; names have not been identified yet, but initial indications suggest that the driver may have lost control while attempting to overtake, said the police officials.<\/p>\n<p>Ten passengers died on the spot, while at least eight were injured. The injured were sent to the district headquarters hospital, where an emergency was declared shortly after the accident, rescue officials reported.<\/p>\n<p>Several injured were reportedly in severe condition, and rescue workers were working to free passengers trapped within the wreckage.
