ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Police<\/a> have acted<\/span> decisively<\/span> against 15 personnel, dismissing them from service due<\/span> to<\/span> negligence in performing<\/span> their<\/span> duties<\/span> and misuse of their<\/span> authority.<\/p>\n

The<\/span> departmental inquiry was<\/span> conducted under the supervision of a Superintendent of Police<\/a>.<\/span> Upon<\/span> completion<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> departmental<\/span> inquiry<\/span>, it<\/span> was<\/span> determined<\/span> that<\/span> the police<\/span> personnel had<\/span> exhibited<\/span> different<\/span> levels<\/span> of incompetence<\/span> and failed<\/span> to complete<\/span> their duties as<\/span> law<\/span> enforcement<\/span> officers<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abusing<\/span> their authority, the<\/span> 15<\/span> personnel<\/span> failed to service<\/span> the public, while<\/span> negative<\/span> and<\/span> positive<\/span> actions<\/span> against criminal adversaries<\/span> were<\/span> performed<\/span> and<\/span> failed<\/span> to<\/span> be<\/span> performed,<\/span> respectively<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The dismissed officers include Sub-Inspector<\/a> Qasim Zia, Sub-Inspector Talat Mehmood, Assistant Sub-Inspector Zaheer Ahmed, Head Constables Almas Haider, Muhammad Ishaq, Waqas Idrees, Naveed Butter, and Sajid Mehmood.<\/p>\n

He added that Constables Muhammad Nadeem, Muhammad Imran, Nazim Abbas, Zahid Khan, Ahsan Farooq, Imran Ahmed, and Qazi Azhar have also been removed from service following the inquiry.<\/p>\n

The<\/span> actions<\/span> of<\/span> the police department demonstrate<\/span> their<\/span> dedication<\/span> to<\/span> protecting<\/span> these<\/span> public service principles<\/span> and preventing<\/span> the<\/span> misuse of power.<\/p>\n

Police<\/span> departments<\/span> should<\/span> be<\/span> clear<\/span> to<\/span> personnel that<\/span> those<\/span> who chose<\/span> not<\/span> to<\/span> emphasize<\/span> principles of<\/span> public<\/span> service<\/span> should<\/span> receive<\/span> department<\/span> punishments, while good performances<\/span> should<\/span> warrant<\/span> system<\/span> rewards<\/span>.<\/p>\n
