DUBAI: India’s middle-order batter, Shreyas Iyer,<\/a> has been awarded the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for March 2025, defeating New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy and Rachin Ravindra.<\/p>\n

Iyer was the leading run-scorer in March, with 243 runs, and played an important part in India’s successful ICC Champions Trophy<\/a> 2025 campaign.<\/p>\n

His accomplishment gives India its second straight Player of the Month title, following Shubman Gill’s\u00a0recognition in February.<\/p>\n

Iyer played a major role in India’s middle order throughout the tournament, helping the team navigate the middle overs with his composed stroke play. His ability to anchor the innings and build crucial partnerships was instrumental in India\u2019s successful campaign of ICC Champions Trophy.<\/p>\n

“I’m really honored to be selected the ICC Men’s Player of the Month for March. This award is quite significant, especially because we won the ICC Champions Trophy earlier this month, a moment I will remember for the rest of my life, Iyer on winning the award.<\/p>\n

“Being able to contribute to India\u2019s success on such a big stage is something every cricketer dreams of. I’m grateful to my teammates, coaches, and support staff for their unwavering support and belief.<\/p>\n

The 30-year-old scored 172 of his 243 runs across three matches in March, averaging 57.33 with a strike rate of 77.47, featuring several notable performances helping Indian team Clinch the ICC Champions Trophy.<\/p>\n
