{"id":71473,"date":"2025-04-21T18:26:19","date_gmt":"2025-04-21T13:26:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=71473"},"modified":"2025-04-21T18:26:19","modified_gmt":"2025-04-21T13:26:19","slug":"lahore-to-get-hundreds-of-ev-charging-stations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/automobile\/lahore-to-get-hundreds-of-ev-charging-stations\/","title":{"rendered":"Lahore to get Hundreds of EV charging stations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: At least <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/deepal-electric-cars-l07-s07-price-booking-details-in-pakistan\/\">241 locations<\/a> have been marked by the Lahore Transport Company (LTC) to set up<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/automobile\/pakistan-proposes-reduced-ev-charging-tariffs-to-boost-electric-vehicle-adoption\/\"> electric vehicle (EV)<\/a> charging stations in Lahore.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative aims to promote environment-friendly transportation as the air pollution in the winter worsens in the City.<\/p>\n<p>Key spots for the installation of the charging points have been identified within the dense parking areas in Lahore, according to the reports.<\/p>\n<p>A formal submission of the proposal has been submitted to the Board of Revenue, asking for the land allocation and approval for the project.<\/p>\n<p>A rigorous survey is now conducted to ensure that the stations are located in accessible and practical areas. In response to the suggestion, a senior member of the Board of Revenue urged the LTC to commence urgent site identification and pledged that land would be granted on a priority basis.<\/p>\n<p>In the first phase, the initiative plans to install charging stations for 1,100 electric vehicles around Lahore.
