KARACHI: Karachi Kings defeated Peshawar Zalmi<\/a> by two wickets in a thrilling last-over match of Pakistan Super League<\/a> (PSL) 10 at the National Stadium on Monday.<\/p>\n

Earlier, in the 11th match of PSL 10, Peshawar Zalmi set a target of 148 runs for the Kings. Batting first for Karachi Kings, Babar Azam and Saim Ayub opened the innings.<\/p>\n

Saim fell victim to Mir Hamza after scoring just four runs, bringing Tom Kohler-Cadmore to the crease to support his captain.<\/p>\n

His innings was also short as he was dismissed after scoring just seven runs, the scoreboard showed 36\/2 in 6.5 overs.<\/p>\n

After this, Muhammad Haris came to the crease and put on a 31-run partnership with Babar Azam to take Peshawar Zalmi to 67 runs in 10 overs.<\/p>\n

Babar was dismissed after scoring 46 runs off 41 balls. Hussain Talat scored 18 while Mitchell Owen fell to Khushdil Shah after scoring just five runs.<\/p>\n

Al-Zari Joseph remained unbeaten on 24 runs off 13 balls as Peshawar posted 147 for 8 in their 20 overs.<\/p>\n

For Karachi Kings, Abbas Afridi and Khushdil Shah took three wickets each while Mir Hamza and Aamir Jamal took one wicket each.<\/p>\n

Both sides have decided to field the same side for the PSL 10 match from their previous clashes.<\/p>\n

Peshawar Zalmi: Babar Azam (c), Saim Ayub, Muhammad Haris (wicket), Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Hussain Talat, Mitch Owen, Abdul Samad, Luke Wood, Al-Zari Joseph, Arif Yaqoob, and Ali Raza.<\/p>\n

Karachi Kings: Tim Seifert (wk), David Warner (c), James Vince, Saad Baig, Khushdil Shah, Irfan Khan, Muhammad Nabi, Amir Jamal, Abbas Afridi, Hasan Ali, and Mir Hamza.<\/p>\n

Kings are third on the points table, with two wins in their last four matches, while Zalmi are fifth, having won one of their last three matches.<\/p>\n

In their previous match against Islamabad United, Karachi Kings suffered a six-wicket defeat after setting a target of 129 runs for the defending champions.<\/p>\n
