Traffic on the highways is much less than usual, and attorneys have also boycotted court hearings.<\/p>\n<p>Protests are being staged in several regions to demonstrate solidarity with the Gazan people.<\/p>\n<p>According to Jamaat-e-Islam chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, protests will be <span class=\"diff-highlight\">staged<\/span> simultaneously <span class=\"diff-highlight\">all<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">over<\/span> the country <span class=\"diff-highlight\">against<\/span> the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">continuous<\/span> crimes <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Israel<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Palestine<\/span> being <span class=\"diff-highlight\">committed<\/span> under US <span class=\"diff-highlight\">support<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The JI chief claimed that the Pakistani people cannot endure the ongoing genocide against Palestinians.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ajmal Baloch, President of the All Pakistan Traders Association, stated today that traders will protest at Islamabad&#8217;s Abpara Chowk at 5 p.m. He also called on the UN Secretary-General to resign in response to the Gaza crisis.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RAWALPINDI: In solidarity with the Palestinian people and protest against Israeli atrocities in Gaza, a Nationwide shutter -down strike is being observed following the Call from Jamaat-e-Islami and various traders\u2019 associations, according to media reports.
