{"id":72743,"date":"2025-05-02T11:35:32","date_gmt":"2025-05-02T06:35:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=72743"},"modified":"2025-05-02T11:35:32","modified_gmt":"2025-05-02T06:35:32","slug":"sindh-high-court-accepts-bail-plea-of-actor-sajid-hasans-son","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/sindh-high-court-accepts-bail-plea-of-actor-sajid-hasans-son\/","title":{"rendered":"Sindh High Court accepts bail plea of actor Sajid Hasan\u2019s son"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"133\" data-end=\"321\">KARACHI: Sahir Hasan, son of Pakistani actor <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/mustafa-amir-murder-actor-sajid-hasans-son-sent-on-remand-in-drug-case\/\">Sajid Hasan<\/a>, has been granted bail by the Sindh High Court on Friday in a drug recovery case, according to media reports.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"133\" data-end=\"321\">The accused has been directed to submit a<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/ptis-aliya-hamza-granted-bail-in-protest-case\/\"> surety bond<\/a> of one million.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"133\" data-end=\"321\">The bail was approved by the constitutional bench of the high court following arguments from both parties. The Actor&#8217;s son has been booked under narcotics charges.<\/p>\n<p>According to reports, the investigative officer presented an interim challan to the Judicial Magistrate South&#8217;s court last month. In the challan, the accused reportedly confessed to moving drug earnings to a bank account managed by his father&#8217;s manager.<\/p>\n<p>The challan further noted that the manager had been called by the court and allowed to explain himself.<\/p>\n<p>He was instructed to provide relevant bank statements and papers confirming his innocence. However, the manager has yet to present any such documentation or financial documents.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the police arrested four individuals, including Sajid Hasan&#8217;s son from Karachi&#8217;s Defence area. The police have registered a case against the suspect on charges of drug trafficking.<\/p>\n<p>According to the FIR, the suspect was allegedly carrying a black bag on his shoulder during the time of arrest, which contained five packets of drugs.<\/p>\n<p>The police also recovered a \u201cdigital scale and other items from the bag,\u201d along with a mobile phone and cash from the suspect\u2019s possession.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1371\" data-end=\"1461\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: Sahir Hasan, son of Pakistani actor Sajid Hasan, has been granted bail by the Sindh High Court on Friday in a drug recovery case, according to media reports.
