{"id":73055,"date":"2025-05-05T14:36:21","date_gmt":"2025-05-05T09:36:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=73055"},"modified":"2025-05-05T14:36:21","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T09:36:21","slug":"kp-cm-to-inaugurate-peshawars-first-jogging-and-cycling-track-on-this-date","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/kp-cm-to-inaugurate-peshawars-first-jogging-and-cycling-track-on-this-date\/","title":{"rendered":"KP CM to inaugurate Peshawar&#8217;s first jogging and cycling track on THIS date"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: In a groundbreaking move, Peshwar has completed its first dedicated <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/kp-introduces-low-cost-housing-society-under-naya-pakistan-housing-program\/\">jogging and cycling track<\/a>,\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">which<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">located<\/span> in Hayatabad.<\/p>\n<p>This development\u00a0 <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> part of Phase II of the Peshawar Uplift Programme. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Khyber<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Pakhtunkhwa<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/imran-khan-is-ready-to-talks-gandapur\/\"><span class=\"diff-highlight\">Chief<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Minister<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Ali<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Amin<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Gandapur<\/span><\/a> will <span class=\"diff-highlight\">inaugurate<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> six-kilometer-long\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">track<\/span> later this month <span class=\"diff-highlight\">as<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">it<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">has<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">been<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">developed<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">along<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Hayatabad<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Khwar<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">My<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">commissioner,<\/span> Riaz Mahsud, who is <span class=\"diff-highlight\">responsible<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> the project, visited the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">area<\/span> and walked the track <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> engineers <span class=\"diff-highlight\">working<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">on<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> final <span class=\"diff-highlight\">arrangements<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">track<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">has<\/span> modern features <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> 20 feet <span class=\"diff-highlight\">wide<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> greenbelts on both sides <span class=\"diff-highlight\">that<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">are<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">5<\/span> feet <span class=\"diff-highlight\">each,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">which<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">have<\/span> trees and decorative plants to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">help<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/modi-meets-indian-air-force-chief-amid-rising-tensions-with-pakistan\/\">air quality<\/a> and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">aesthetic<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">appeal<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">There<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> rest <span class=\"diff-highlight\">point<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">that<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">has<\/span> open-air gym equipment <span class=\"diff-highlight\">as<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">well<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">as<\/span> public restrooms, tuck shops, and other <span class=\"diff-highlight\">essentials<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">at<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">every<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">kilometer<\/span>. Commissioner Mahsud <span class=\"diff-highlight\">mentioned<\/span> that <span class=\"diff-highlight\">2<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> remaining portions of the track are over 70% complete and quickly <span class=\"diff-highlight\">coming<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">together<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>He <span class=\"diff-highlight\">was<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">clear<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">that<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">it<\/span> is the provincial government<span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8216;<\/span>s goal to improve health <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">public<\/span>, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">use<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> eco-friendly urban <span class=\"diff-highlight\">spaces<\/span>, and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">provide<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">citizens<\/span> with more <span class=\"diff-highlight\">recreation<\/span> options.
