The<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/punjab-initiates-work-on-e-taxi-service-resembling-chinese-model\/\"> e-taxi project<\/a> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> aimed at <span class=\"diff-highlight\">improving<\/span> transport facilities <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> citizens <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">province<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> Punjab.<\/p>\n<p>The CM <span class=\"diff-highlight\">was<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">briefed<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">about<\/span> mass transit projects <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">general<\/span>. The feasibility study report <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> the Yellow Line mass transit system was presented and participants were briefed <span class=\"diff-highlight\">about<\/span> the province\u2019s <span class=\"diff-highlight\">green<\/span> e-taxi initiative.<\/p>\n<p>The sources said further route reports <span class=\"diff-highlight\">have<\/span> also <span class=\"diff-highlight\">been<\/span> sought for <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Gujranwala<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">members<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> the mass transit system. CM Nawaz directed that routes should be <span class=\"diff-highlight\">decided<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">based<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">on<\/span> public convenience and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">directed<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">that<\/span> work on the Yellow Line project <span class=\"diff-highlight\">should<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">start<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">immediately<\/span> from Jinnah Terminal to Harbanspura.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting also <span class=\"diff-highlight\">covered<\/span> some\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">areas<\/span> of the e-taxi project. The briefing revealed that <span class=\"diff-highlight\">as<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">part<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">e<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">taxi<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">project,<\/span> the Punjab government <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> provide subsidies under the scheme.
