Security forces also confirmed shooting down an Indian spy drone in Lahore&#8217;s Naseerabad area.<\/p>\n<p>Eyewitnesses reported hearing at least two to three blasts, after which law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and started an investigation.<\/p>\n<p>As per details, parents have received calls regarding the closure of private and public schools. Further reports regarding educational institutions in other areas of the city are yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the drone attack, civil aviation authorities also temporarily suspended flights at Lahore, Sialkot, and Karachi airports. Lahore and Sialkot airports will not be available until 12:00 am on May 8, CAA said.<\/p>\n<p>The fresh Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) has been issued, stating that several air routes within Lahore and Sialkot have been closed for commercial flights.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the restricted airspace, multiple Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flights have been impacted. Several Lahore-bound flights have been rerouted\u00a0to Islamabad airport.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, security forces shot down several Indian spy drones over Lahore, Chakwal, Gujranwal, and Ghotki this morning.
