{"id":73540,"date":"2025-05-08T13:56:31","date_gmt":"2025-05-08T08:56:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=73540"},"modified":"2025-05-08T13:56:31","modified_gmt":"2025-05-08T08:56:31","slug":"allama-iqbal-open-university-exam-cancelled-in-azad-kashmir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/allama-iqbal-open-university-exam-cancelled-in-azad-kashmir\/","title":{"rendered":"Allama Iqbal Open University exam cancelled in Azad Kashmir"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Allama Iqbal Open University<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/allama-iqbal-open-university-extends-admission-deadline-for-autumn-2024-semester\/\"> (AIOU)<\/a>\u00a0 examinations scheduled for Thursday 8 May have been postponed in Azad Kashmir, according to a notification issued by the University.<\/p>\n<p>The tests will now take place on June 17, 2025, according to the notification.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Due to the prevailing security situation, it is hereby notified that AIOU&#8217;s final examinations scheduled to be held today on 08 May 2025 (Thursday) at exam centers established in the following Regions are hereby postponed&#8221;,\u00a0the notification reads.<\/p>\n<p>The centers include the whole region of Muzzafarabad, Mirpur, and Rawalakot as per the notification.<\/p>\n<p>However, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/lahore\/bise-lahore-inter-matric-board-exams-postponed-due-to-tensions-with-india\/\">\u00a0(BISE)<\/a>\u00a0Lahore has issued a circular stating that theory papers of Intermediate Part-II and\u00a0practical examinations\u00a0of matric will resume from May 8 as per the already issued date sheet.<\/p>\n<p>The paper scheduled for May 7 was postponed due to the current situation.
