{"id":73620,"date":"2025-05-08T20:35:13","date_gmt":"2025-05-08T15:35:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=73620"},"modified":"2025-05-08T20:35:13","modified_gmt":"2025-05-08T15:35:13","slug":"bise-lahore-postpones-inter-exams-scheduled-for-may-9-10-amid-tensions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/bise-lahore-postpones-inter-exams-scheduled-for-may-9-10-amid-tensions\/","title":{"rendered":"BISE Lahore postpones Inter exams scheduled for May 9, 10 amid tensions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/lahore\/bise-lahore-inter-matric-board-exams-postponed-due-to-tensions-with-india\/\"> Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education<\/a> (BISE) Lahore announced the cancellation of intermediate exams scheduled for Friday, May 9th, and Saturday, May 10th.<\/p>\n<p>The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore stated that, following serious security threats raised by conflicts between Pakistan and India, the Board will announce the new dates for <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/indias-propaganda-exposed-notorious-terrorist-confused-with-respected-cleric\/\">postponed exams<\/a> when the security situation stabilizes.<\/p>\n<p>All students are advised to stay in touch with official BISE Lahore channels and the official school administrations to receive confirmed updates and announcements.<\/p>\n<p>The cancellation was made for students&#8217; safety and that of the school staff after a few incidents of missile and drone attacks from an eastern perspective this week.<\/p>\n<p>The security situation at the Pakistan-India border remains tense, which has resulted in local authorities suspending schools and other academic institutions in the immediate areas.<\/p>\n<p>All academic institutes at all levels in Punjab, including Lahore, will remain closed under a government order.\u00a0The Government of Punjab has declared that public safety is the number one priority, and any new upcoming decisions will come through announced channels of communication.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore announced the cancellation of intermediate exams scheduled for Friday, May 9th, and Saturday, May 10th.
