ISLAMABAD: The diplomatic relations between Pakistan and India have always been on the brink, with several military standoffs and wars. After almost a week of drone attacks, firing, and missile attacks along the Line of Control<\/a> (LoC), Pakistan and India agreed to accept the full and immediate ceasefire just hours after Pakistan launched Operation Bunyan Marsoos on May 10, 2025.<\/p>\n

On the morning of May 10, the Pakistan army, at the time of prayers, launched the operation Bunyan Marsoos and targeted several locations in India, which caused huge damage to the national assets of India.<\/p>\n

The government of Pakistan warned Indian forces to stop the operation, but the Indian government continued the operation, which led Pakistan to launch Operation Bunyan Marsoos against the Indian aggression.<\/p>\n

Earlier, on May 07, India launched Operation Sindoor, after which it started attacking the areas in Pakistan along the LoC with drones and guns; however, the Pakistan Army remained alert and fought back with full courage, defending the country.<\/p>\n

Here’s what led to these operations and how Pakistan completed the military action, Bunyan Marsoos with great victory.<\/p>\n

May 06, 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n

According to the security officials, on the night of 6\/7 May, Pakistan clearly and decisively won the most historic and epic battles of BVRs, during the night Pakistan Army shot down 5 most modern fighter jets, including India’s newly bought\u00a0 3 x Rafale jets, 1 x SU 30, and 1 x MIG 29 in the area along LoC.<\/p>\n

Pakistan Air Force shot down five Indian Air Force aircraft in retaliation for late-night Indian missile attacks<\/a> on six Pakistani cities, martyring eight civilians and injuring 35 others.<\/p>\n

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has confirmed that the Pakistan Air Force has shot down at least five Indian fighter jets.<\/p>\n

May 07 to May 08, 2025<\/h3>\n

Drone Warfare<\/strong>: On the exact night Pakistan successfully took out Israel-made Harpie\/Harop drones, capturing 78 drones after shooting them down in several areas across Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Missile Defense:<\/strong> During the period from May 07 to 08, Pakistan’s air defense system effectively intercepted Indian missile projectiles, including supersonic Brahmos missiles, on multiple occasions. Additionally, the Indian missile project was taken down at Dinga.<\/p>\n

May 08 to 09:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

During this period, Indian forces targeted several locations in Azad Kashmir and Sialkot with drones and missiles, but due to Pak Army’s swift response, India launched multiple supersonic Brahmos missiles taken down by Pakistan Air Defence.<\/p>\n

May 09, 2025<\/h3>\n

India continuously attacked the Line of Control, which caused terror among the residents, but the Pakistani Army successfully defended the areas and shot down drones<\/p>\n

Additionally Pakistani hackers group launched a counter-cyber attack in which group has claiming to have successfully hacked<\/span>\u00a0the Indian website \u201cRepublic World<\/a>\u201c<\/span>\u00a0as<\/span>\u00a0part<\/span>\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0 Pakistan\u2019s counter-cyberattacks\u00a0\u201c<\/span>Operation<\/span>\u00a0Salar<\/span><\/a>\u201c.<\/p>\n

The group\u00a0claimed<\/span>\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0prove<\/span>\u00a0that<\/span>\u00a0they<\/span>\u00a0hacked<\/span>\u00a0into<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0Indian<\/span>\u00a0website<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0shared<\/span>\u00a0their<\/span>\u00a0evidence of the hack,\u00a0which<\/span>\u00a0the Indian\u00a0site<\/span>\u00a0also<\/span>\u00a0confirmed<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The<\/span>\u00a0hackers<\/span>\u00a0claimed<\/span>\u00a0that<\/span>\u00a0they<\/span>\u00a0accessed<\/span> data and disrupted operations. The \u201cRepublic World\u201d website itself confirmed that they<\/span>\u00a0were<\/span>\u00a0hacked<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0that they\u00a0were<\/span>\u00a0working to\u00a0fix<\/span>\u00a0the issue and\u00a0ramp<\/span>\u00a0up<\/span>\u00a0security\u00a0on<\/span>\u00a0their<\/span>\u00a0website<\/span>.<\/p>\n

May 10, 2025<\/h3>\n

On the night of May 10, loud explosions were heard all over Pakistan, which later confirmed that Indian Air Force aircraft launched BrahMos-A (air-launched) cruise missiles targeting key Pakistan Air Force (PAF) bases.<\/p>\n

The first blast was reported at Chaklala Air base, also known as the Noor Khan Air Base, near Rawalpindi and Sargodha in Punjab province. Both installations hold strategic aviation and logistics value for the Pakistan military.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, all three air bases of Pakistan remained safe, and no damage was reported to the airbases.<\/p>\n

Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said that Pakistan’s air defence system successfully intercepted “the majority” of missile attacks launched by India at PAF\u2019s three airbases late today.<\/p>\n

He confirmed that the military has electronic evidence confirming the strikes, from where they were initiated and what was targeted.<\/p>\n

Addressing the presser, DG ISPR said that the few Indian missiles that were not intercepted and \u201csneaked in\u201d have \u201cnot been able to cause any damage\u201d to PAF\u2019s flying assets as per the initial damage assessment reports.<\/p>\n

The DG Inter Service Public Relations held a late-night presser, in which he warned India to now wait for Pakistan’s response, and later that day, at the time of Dawn, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir launched the operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, which is a Quranic Verse which means ”strong Wall’<\/p>\n

Pakistan launched Fateh-1 missiles and played havoc with the Indian air bases and fields. Pakistan attacked at 26 different locations inside India and destroyed major Indian ports, which caused huge financial damage to the Indian government.<\/p>\n
