ISLAMABAD: Petrol and diesel prices<\/a> in Pakistan are anticipated<\/span> to drop by<\/span> Rs2<\/span>.<\/span>5<\/span>–<\/span>3<\/span> per<\/span> liter<\/span> starting Friday<\/span>,<\/span> May 16, 2025, amid the downward trend in the international market.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the sources, the prices of petroleum products are likely to rise in Pakistan from May 16 till the next fortnight.<\/p>\n

The rise can<\/span> be<\/span> attributed to the<\/span> ongoing<\/span> rise<\/span> in global crude markets driven by expectations<\/span> of<\/span> a<\/span> rebound<\/span> in global<\/span> oil demand in<\/span> light<\/span> of<\/span> easing trade tensions between the United States and China.<\/p>\n
