{"id":74484,"date":"2025-05-15T13:18:27","date_gmt":"2025-05-15T08:18:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=74484"},"modified":"2025-05-15T13:18:27","modified_gmt":"2025-05-15T08:18:27","slug":"mexican-influencer-valeria-marquez-shot-dead-during-tiktok-live","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/life-style\/mexican-influencer-valeria-marquez-shot-dead-during-tiktok-live\/","title":{"rendered":"Mexican influencer Valeria Marquez shot dead during TikTok live"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-pm-slice=\"0 0 []\">MEXICO CITY: Mexican social media influencer Valeria Marquez was shot dead by unknown assailants during a live session on TikTok.<\/p>\n<p>Reports say the 23-year-old was allegedly killed in the Mexican state of Jalisco while she was doing a live session at her beauty salon.<\/p>\n<p>Police said they are investigating the case as an act of femicide, which is defined as the intentional killing of women or girls because of their gender.<\/p>\n<p>According to official statements, an attacker entered her salon, opened fire on her and fled the scene.<\/p>\n<p>The viral video shows Valeria holding a toy during a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/life-style\/case-registered-against-rajab-butt-for-alleged-threats-harassment-on-tiktok\/\">TikTok live<\/a> stream minutes before she was shot.<\/p>\n<p>At one point, a man can be heard saying \u201cHey Val\u201d and she says \u201cyes\u201d in response.
