KARACHI: In a step forward toward digital transformation<\/a>, the Sindh government has announced to fully digitalize the education system of the Sindh province, according to Education Minister Sindh Syed Sardar Ali Shah.<\/p>\n

A school monitoring application is being made to ensure the Teachers’ attendance,e which will be linked to the accountant’s office to digitally monitor the attendance of the teachers.<\/p>\n

All the teachers will mark their attendance in this app, while the pictures of the students of the class shall also be shared in this Application, according to the Minister of Education.<\/p>\n

The application is designed to function within the proximity of the schools.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the Inter<\/span>\u00a0Boards<\/span>\u00a0Coordination<\/span>\u00a0Commission<\/span>\u00a0(<\/span>IBCC<\/span>) announced that the<\/span>\u00a0certificates of Class 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th will now be verified online.<\/p>\n

According<\/span>\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0a<\/span>\u00a0notice<\/span>\u00a0issued<\/span>\u00a0by<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0Inter<\/span>\u00a0Boards<\/span>\u00a0Coordination<\/span>\u00a0Commission<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(<\/span>IBCC<\/span>)<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0procedure<\/span>\u00a0for<\/span>\u00a0verification<\/span>\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0matric<\/span>\u00a0and<\/span>\u00a0inter<\/span>\u00a0certificates<\/span>\u00a0in<\/span>\u00a0Sindh<\/span>\u00a0is<\/span>\u00a0moving<\/span>\u00a0online<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Details<\/span>\u00a0reveal<\/span>\u00a0that<\/span>\u00a0as<\/span>\u00a0outlined<\/span>\u00a0in<\/span>\u00a0the new\u00a0instructions<\/span>\u00a0by<\/span>\u00a0IBCC<\/span>,<\/span>\u00a0sealed envelopes\u00a0with<\/span>\u00a0certificates for verification will be\u00a0ended.<\/span>\u00a0Verification<\/span>\u00a0will be\u00a0solely<\/span>\u00a0through an online system.<\/p>\n

IBBC<\/span>\u00a0advised<\/span>\u00a0all<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0Boards<\/span>\u00a0of<\/span>\u00a0Education<\/span>\u00a0in Sindh to be\u00a0connected<\/span>\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0the<\/span>\u00a0IBCC<\/span>\u00a0platform<\/span>\u00a0for<\/span>\u00a0verification.\u00a0This<\/span>\u00a0system is\u00a0presently<\/span>\u00a0live<\/span>\u00a0with<\/span>\u00a0Karachi Matric Board, Sukkur Education Board, and Ziauddin Board.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0other<\/span>\u00a0boards in Sindh have been\u00a0encouraged<\/span>\u00a0to upload and digitize their\u00a0education<\/span>\u00a0history<\/span>\u00a0as<\/span>\u00a0soon<\/span>\u00a0as<\/span>\u00a0possible<\/span>\u00a0to<\/span>\u00a0interface<\/span>\u00a0with<\/span>\u00a0the online verification\u00a0system<\/span>.<\/p>\n
