{"id":74612,"date":"2025-05-16T19:18:53","date_gmt":"2025-05-16T14:18:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=74612"},"modified":"2025-05-16T19:18:53","modified_gmt":"2025-05-16T14:18:53","slug":"new-age-limit-approved-for-css-examination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/new-age-limit-approved-for-css-examination\/","title":{"rendered":"New age limit approved for CSS examination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> National Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">extend<\/span> the age limit for <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/education\/results-of-css-special-exam-2023-announced\/\">Central Superior Services<\/a> (CSS) <span class=\"diff-highlight\">exams<\/span> by five years.<\/p>\n<p>The resolution <span class=\"diff-highlight\">called<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">increase<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">permit<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">any<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">candidate<\/span> to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">sit<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> the competitive examination five times. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">It<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">called<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> maximum age <span class=\"diff-highlight\">cap<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">on<\/span> candidates <span class=\"diff-highlight\">competing<\/span> in CSS <span class=\"diff-highlight\">exams<\/span> to be <span class=\"diff-highlight\">raised<\/span> from 30 to 35 years <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">age<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The resolution was <span class=\"diff-highlight\">tabled<\/span> by <span class=\"diff-highlight\">MNA<\/span> PML-N <span class=\"diff-highlight\">member<\/span>\u00a0Nosheen Iftikhar. The National Assembly session has been <span class=\"diff-highlight\">adjourned<\/span> until Monday\u00a0at 5 PM.<\/p>\n<p>The Central Superior Services (CSS) exams are competitive exams conducted <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Pakistan<\/span> by the<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/fpsc-announces-much-awaited-css-2024-result\/\"> Federal Public <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Services<\/span> Commission<\/a> (FPSC) to recruit candidates <span class=\"diff-highlight\">into<\/span> various civil service positions.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">CSS<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">exams<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">facilitate<\/span> the\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">appointments<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">candidates<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">into<\/span> key <span class=\"diff-highlight\">positions,<\/span> including administration, foreign <span class=\"diff-highlight\">services<\/span>, police, and customs. The <span class=\"diff-highlight\">exams<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">include<\/span> written <span class=\"diff-highlight\">assessments<\/span>, psychological <span class=\"diff-highlight\">assessments,<\/span> and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">interviews<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> CSS <span class=\"diff-highlight\">exam<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">held<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> a\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">high<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">standard,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">including<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">across<\/span> a\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">breadth<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">subjects,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">including<\/span> current affairs <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> general knowledge <span class=\"diff-highlight\">(<\/span>and optional subjects<span class=\"diff-highlight\">)<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">Those<\/span> candidates <span class=\"diff-highlight\">who<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">successfully<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">qualify<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">exam<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">are<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">then<\/span> allowed\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> serve the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">nation<\/span> in prestigious roles <span class=\"diff-highlight\">across<\/span> the national policy and administration <span class=\"diff-highlight\">sectors<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> government.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the National Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution to extend the age limit for Central Superior Services (CSS) exams by five years.
