{"id":74741,"date":"2025-05-18T16:20:38","date_gmt":"2025-05-18T11:20:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=74741"},"modified":"2025-05-18T16:20:38","modified_gmt":"2025-05-18T11:20:38","slug":"travel-advisory-issued-for-twin-cities-during-psl-x-match","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/travel-advisory-issued-for-twin-cities-during-psl-x-match\/","title":{"rendered":"Travel advisory issued for twin cities during PSL X matches"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the Islamabad administration has issued a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/indian-travel-blogger-jyoti-malhotra-allegedly-arrested-for-spying-for-pakistan\/\">travel advisory<\/a> for twin cities following the PSL X match between Quetta Gladiators vs Multan Sultan.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the movement of cricket teams <span class=\"diff-highlight\">competing<\/span> in the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/psl-x-resumes-today-as-karachi-kings-faces-peshawar-zalmi\/\">Pakistan Super League<\/a> (PSL) X, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">special<\/span> security <span class=\"diff-highlight\">measures<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">instituted<\/span> on Faizabad Express Highway, Club Road, Murree Road, Faisal Avenue, 9th Avenue, and Srinagar Highway at various times <span class=\"diff-highlight\">until<\/span> May 18, 2025.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/islamabad-launched-clean-drinking-water-campaign-for-rural-areas\/\"> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Islamabad<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Traffic<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Police<\/span><\/a> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">gave<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">an<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">advisory<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">routes<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">picked<\/span> for the teams <span class=\"diff-highlight\">stating<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">that<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">there<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">some<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">traffic<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">disruption<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">length<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">time<\/span>, from 12:30 PM to 02:00 PM and 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM, on the Express Highway and Srinagar Highway.<\/p>\n<p>The advisory <span class=\"diff-highlight\">highlights<\/span> that traffic will be slow. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">So<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">it<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> advised <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">citizens<\/span> to use the service road <span class=\"diff-highlight\">linking<\/span> the Express Highway and Srinagar Highway.<\/p>\n<p>For travel towards the Blue Area <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> Sector F-6 and F-7, use the H-8 underpass. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Citizens<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">can<\/span> use Margalla Road, Jinnah Avenue, Ayub Chowk, and Nadra Chowk, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">if<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">coming<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">or<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">going<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> the\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">Red<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Zone<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> the\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">Serena<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Hotel<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">If<\/span> going to Bari Imam<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> use Nadra Chowk. For Sector I and H, use Rawalpindi Peshawar Road, IJP Road, and Service Road. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Also,<\/span> heavy traffic <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">not<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">allowed<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">access<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> Islamabad during the movement of teams, and movement from Murree Road to Serena and Faizabad <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> via Rawal Dam.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: In a recent development, the Islamabad administration has issued a travel advisory for twin cities following the PSL X match between Quetta Gladiators vs Multan Sultan.
