{"id":74806,"date":"2025-05-19T12:02:47","date_gmt":"2025-05-19T07:02:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=74806"},"modified":"2025-05-19T12:02:47","modified_gmt":"2025-05-19T07:02:47","slug":"islamabad-weather-new-spell-of-gusty-winds-rain-to-enter-federal-capital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/weather\/islamabad-weather-new-spell-of-gusty-winds-rain-to-enter-federal-capital\/","title":{"rendered":"Islamabad weather: New spell of gusty winds, rain to enter federal capital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: <span class=\"diff-highlight\">A<\/span> new spell of gusty <span class=\"diff-highlight\">thunderstorms<\/span> and rain is <span class=\"diff-highlight\">expected<\/span> for Islamabad in the evening as the mercury <span class=\"diff-highlight\">soars<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">beyond<\/span> 40 degrees Celsius in the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/russia-and-ukraine-to-hold-first-direct-peace-talks-in-over-3-years\/\">federal capital<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/lightening-claims-live-of-four-in-south-punjab-pmda\/\">Pakistan Meteorological Department<\/a> (PMD), rain is also <span class=\"diff-highlight\">predicted<\/span> in Murree, Galiyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, and Sargodha<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">while<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">rain<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">has<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">also<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">been<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">forecast<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> Khushab, Mandi\u202fBahauddin, Hafizabad, Gujrat, and Gujranwala.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">Similarly,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">downpours<\/span> could also <span class=\"diff-highlight\">potentially<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">develop<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">around<\/span> Mianwali, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Sheikhupura, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> isolated thunder\u2011showers <span class=\"diff-highlight\">developing<\/span> around Jhang, Noorpur\u202fThal, and Bhakkar.<\/p>\n<p>Khyber\u202fPakhtunkhwa can expect rain <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">likely<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">fall<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">on<\/span> Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Battagram, Swabi, and Mansehra<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">while<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">showers<\/span> are likely <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">fall<\/span> in Abbottabad, Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Kurram, Khyber, Waziristan, and Bannu, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">but<\/span> a <span class=\"diff-highlight\">possibility<\/span> of <span class=\"diff-highlight\">some<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">isolated<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">showers<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">could<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">develop<\/span> around Kohat, Hangu, Karak, and Dera Ismail Khan.<\/p>\n<p>Gilgit\u2011Baltistan and Azad Kashmir are also in line for windy, thundery showers<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8220;<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">this<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">portion<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">states<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">.<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Conversely<\/span>, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">majority<\/span> of Balochistan will <span class=\"diff-highlight\">remain<\/span> hot and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">very<\/span> dry, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">adds<\/span> the Met Office.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: A new spell of gusty thunderstorms and rain is expected for Islamabad in the evening as the mercury soars beyond 40 degrees Celsius in the federal capital.
