KHUZDAR: At least five children<\/a> were martyred and several others injured in an explosion on a school bus near Zero Point on the national highway in Khuzdar<\/a>, according to the local administration.<\/p>\n

Forty children were in the bus at the time of the explosion. Thirty-five\u00a0children were also injured in the explosion on a school bus in Khuzdar and have been shifted to a nearby hospital.<\/p>\n

According to officials, the explosion took place near Zero Point on the Karachi-Quetta national highway. The explosive material was planted in a vehicle on the roadside.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe explosive material was planted in a vehicle on the roadside. As the school bus approached, it was detonated remotely,\u201d according to the Police, adding that a preliminary investigation is underway to determine the nature of the device and the perpetrators involved.<\/p>\n

However, Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar said that the attack claimed four lives and injured several. The injured are being shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Commissioner further added that the explosion was a suicide attack, and investigations are underway to identify those behind the incident.<\/p>\n

“In yet another cowardly and ghastly attack planned and orchestrated by the terrorist state of India and executed by its proxies in Balochistan, the innocent school-going children’s bus was targeted today in Khuzdar,” according to military media wing.<\/p>\n

“After having miserably failed in the battlefield, through these most heinous and cowardly such like acts, Indian proxies have been unleashed to spread terror and unrest in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the statement reads.<\/p>\n

As per the initial reports, three innocent children and two adults have embraced Shahadat, and multiple children have sustained injuries.<\/p>\n

“Having failed in the Operation Bunnianum Masroor and being hunted by military and law enforcement agencies, these Indian terror proxies are being employed as a state tool by India to foment terrorism in Pakistan against soft targets such as innocent children and civilians”, it added.<\/p>\n

“Use of terrorism as a state policy by the Indian government is abhorrent and reflective of their low morality and disregard of basic human norms. Planners, abettors, and executors of this cowardly Indian sponsored attack will be hunted down and brought to justice, and the heinous face of India will be exposed in front of the entire world”, the communique reads.<\/p>\n

“Pakistan Armed Forces, with the support of the brave Pakistani nation, stand united to uproot Indian sponsored terrorism from Pakistan in all its manifestations, the statement concluded.<\/p>\n
