The flyover is 1.3 km long <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">was<\/span> completed in eight months, which is a record time, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> is <span class=\"diff-highlight\">expected<\/span> to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">relieve<\/span> traffic and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">improve<\/span> connectivity <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> thousands of <span class=\"diff-highlight\">commuters<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Maryam Nawaz Sharif <span class=\"diff-highlight\">took<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">look<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">at<\/span> the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/cm-maryam-nawaz-compares-may-9-attacks-to-indian-aggression\/\">Nawaz Sharif Flyover<\/a> on <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">day<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">opening<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">ceremony<\/span> and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">praised<\/span> the quality of construction. Provincial Minister Sohaib Ahmad Bharth briefed CM Maryam Nawaz <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Sharif<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">on<\/span> the flyover <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">explained<\/span> the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">benefit<\/span> of the project <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> transportation <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">surrounding<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">areas<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> project, \u2018The Nawaz Sharif Flyover\u2019<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">which<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">worth<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">an<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">estimated<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Rs<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">.<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">2<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">.<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">2<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">billion<\/span> is expected to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">improve<\/span> travel for residents of Bhakkar, Khushab, and Mianwali <span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8211;<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">an<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">estimated<\/span> over 30,000 vehicles<span class=\"diff-highlight\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The project will also include service roads and a sewer channel box to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">facilitate<\/span> free-flowing\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">traffic<\/span> and improve urban <span class=\"diff-highlight\">development<\/span> planning.
