href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/apni-chhat-apna-ghar-scheme-what-is-eligibility-criteria-payment-plan-details-inside\/\">apni Chhat Apna Ghar<\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz\u2019s flagship initiative, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">called<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> Apni Chhat Apna Ghar initiative, is <span class=\"diff-highlight\">aimed<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">at<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">helping<\/span> low-income families <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> Punjab to get <span class=\"diff-highlight\">affordable<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">housing<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">solutions<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>By allowing Non-Banking Microfinance Companies to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">participate<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">directly<\/span> in the scheme, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan <span class=\"diff-highlight\">has<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">helped<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">open<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">path<\/span> for underserved communities to access home financing,\u00a0a sector <span class=\"diff-highlight\">that<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">has<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">not<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">attracted<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">any<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">meaningful<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">interest<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">from<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">traditional<\/span> financial institutions.<\/p>\n<p>These microfinance firms are <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">pillar<\/span> in <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> financial services ecosystem <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> are\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">mainly<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">recognized<\/span> for <span class=\"diff-highlight\">supporting<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">low<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">income<\/span> and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">marginalized<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">communities<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">with<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">microloans<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">livelihoods<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">After<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">approval<\/span>, these <span class=\"diff-highlight\">financial<\/span> institutions can now <span class=\"diff-highlight\">diversify<\/span> their services to include housing finance <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">benefit<\/span> of <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> most vulnerable populations <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Pakistan<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis regulatory easing <span class=\"diff-highlight\">represents<\/span> SECP\u2019s commitment to inclusive economic growth, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">because<\/span> empowering NBMFCs to extend their reach into affordable housing <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">help<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">bolster<\/span> efforts to uplift underserved communities and stimulate socio-economic development<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">\u201d<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Commission<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">said<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">Players<\/span> in <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> microfinance and housing <span class=\"diff-highlight\">sector<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">have<\/span> welcomed the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">news<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">as<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">means<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">bridging<\/span> critical financing gaps and <span class=\"diff-highlight\">providing<\/span> meaningful <span class=\"diff-highlight\">changes<\/span> to thousands of low-income <span class=\"diff-highlight\">families<\/span>.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/construction-of-1562-houses-completed-under-apni-chhat-apna-ghar-scheme\/\">Eligibility Criteria for Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Scheme<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>Apni Chhat Apna Ghar\u2019s initiative aims at supporting families with monthly income below Rs50,000, those living in rental properties.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Head of their household in the NADRA records.<\/li>\n<li>Reside permanently in Punjab, as indicated on their CNIC.<\/li>\n<li>Own a land plot of up to 5 Marlas in urban areas or up to 10 Marlas in rural areas within Punjab, where they plan to build their house.<\/li>\n<li>Have no serious criminal record.<\/li>\n<li>Have no outstanding debts to banks or financial institutions.<\/li>\n<li>Be registered with the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) with a PMT score of 60 or lower.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-5\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-77303031\" class=\"lazy-unit av-ads\" data-parent-unit=\"dailyausaf_in_content_lazy\">The Punjab government has announced an ambitious plan to construct approximately 100,000 affordable homes, with the initial phase focusing on the construction of 5,760 houses.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>This initiative will benefit residents in key cities, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, and Sargodha.
