{"id":75490,"date":"2025-05-25T11:17:31","date_gmt":"2025-05-25T06:17:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=75490"},"modified":"2025-05-25T11:17:31","modified_gmt":"2025-05-25T06:17:31","slug":"govt-announces-early-salary-pension-distribution-ahead-of-eidul-adha-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/govt-announces-early-salary-pension-distribution-ahead-of-eidul-adha-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"Govt announces early salary, pension distribution ahead of Eidul Adha 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced that all salaries and pensions for provincial government employees will be distributed by May 30 ahead of the probable <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/world\/eidul-azha-2025-govt-announces-five-holidays-for-eid\/\">Eid-ul-Adha holidays<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The information came from an official notification by the<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/punjab-makes-accounts-officers-liable-for-salary-tax-deductions-under-new-law\/\"> Finance Department<\/a>, which said that all provincial departments and organizations have been directed to submit the payments before the end of the last working month.<\/p>\n<p>The department explained that May 31 is a Sunday and not a working day, and therefore needed to make arrangements for payments in advance.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement came as Eid-ul-Adha is likely nearing the time of the official announcement on the date of Eid-ul-Adha, which will depend on the sighting of the Zul-Hijjah moon.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Religious Affairs has called a meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on May 27 in Islamabad. The meeting will be chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, the committee chairman, and will decide the beginning of Zul-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic lunar calendar.<\/p>\n<p>The zonal Ruet-e-Hilal committees will also meet that same day at their respective provincial headquarters to help gather and submit testimonies of the sighting of the crescent moon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">sighting<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> the moon is<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">if<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">it<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">seen<\/span> on May 27, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">then<\/span> Eid-ul-Adha will be <span class=\"diff-highlight\">celebrated<\/span> on June 6. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">If<\/span> the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">moon<\/span> crescent is not <span class=\"diff-highlight\">sighted,<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"diff-highlight\">then<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Eid<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">ul<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8211;<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">Adha<\/span> will <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">celebrated<\/span> on June 7,\u201d <span class=\"diff-highlight\">said<\/span> a spokesperson <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> the Ministry.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">Similarly<\/span>, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">scientist<\/span> has <span class=\"diff-highlight\">predicted<\/span> that the moon <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> be <span class=\"diff-highlight\">seen<\/span> on May 28, <span class=\"diff-highlight\">which<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">could<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">mean<\/span> Eid <span class=\"diff-highlight\">could<\/span> be celebrated on June 7 <span class=\"diff-highlight\">for<\/span> most of the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced that all salaries and pensions for provincial government employees will be distributed by May 30 ahead of the probable Eid-ul-Adha holidays.
