The move is aimed at restoring manpower sources and strengthening economic ties between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Iqbal also shared plans to bring 1,200 Pakistani nurses to Kuwait\u2019s healthcare sector. Although the first batch of 125 nurses faced delays due to accommodation issues, efforts are underway to resolve the issue. \u201cWe expect their early arrival,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nHe further revealed that Pakistan and Kuwait are close to finalizing a new labor memorandum of understanding (MoU), with some clauses already being implemented.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting the long-standing ties, Dr. Iqbal said that there are over 93,000 Pakistanis residing in Kuwait, who are actively contributing to healthcare, education and infrastructure. He noted Kuwait\u2019s investment in Pakistan and highlighted opportunities in agriculture, food security and housing. The ambassador also appreciated Kuwait\u2019s diplomatic role and support for Pakistan\u2019s recent bid for a seat in the United Nations Security Council.
