If the moon is sighted on May 28, Eid-ul-Adha will be <span class=\"diff-highlight\">observed<\/span> on Friday, June 6.<\/p>\n<p>However, if <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> crescent <span class=\"diff-highlight\">moon<\/span> is seen on Wednesday (May 29), Eid will <span class=\"diff-highlight\">be<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">observed<\/span> on Saturday, June 7. Eid-ul-Adha: six approved for Islamabad <span class=\"diff-highlight\">cattle<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/suicide-drones-still-in-airspace-no-new-launches-sources\/\">SUPARCO<\/a>) <span class=\"diff-highlight\">said,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">based<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">on<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">astronomical<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">calculations,<\/span> Eid <span class=\"diff-highlight\">will<\/span> likely be <span class=\"diff-highlight\">seen<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> Pakistan on June 7, 2025.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8220;<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">The<\/span> new moon of Zilhaj is expected to be born on <span class=\"diff-highlight\">27<\/span> May<span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">based<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">on<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">astronomical<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">models<\/span><span class=\"diff-highlight\">,<\/span> at\u00a08:02 PM PST,<span class=\"diff-highlight\">&#8220;<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">SUPARCO<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">said<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">in<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">a<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">statement<\/span>. <span class=\"diff-highlight\">In<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">meantime<\/span>, the Hajj pilgrimage <span class=\"diff-highlight\">is<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">expected<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">take<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">place<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">this<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">year<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">during<\/span> the <span class=\"diff-highlight\">period<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">from<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">June<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">4<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">to<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">June<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">9<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">because<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">it<\/span> is <span class=\"diff-highlight\">required<\/span> to <span class=\"diff-highlight\">begin<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">on<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">8th<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">of<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">Zilhaj<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">and<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">last<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">until<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">the<\/span> <span class=\"diff-highlight\">13th<\/span>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will meet today on Tuesday (May 28) to spot the Zul-Hijjah moon and announce the date of Eid-ul-Adha 2025 in Pakistan.
