ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department<\/a> (PMD) has predicted<\/span> that<\/span> various<\/span> regions<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> country<\/span> will<\/span> experience<\/span> heavy<\/span> rain<\/span>,<\/span> hailstorms<\/span>,<\/span> and<\/span> strong<\/span> winds<\/span> today (Tuesday) through<\/span> May 31.<\/div>\n

According to the Met Office prediction, widespread<\/span> showers<\/span> will<\/span> occur<\/span> in<\/span> Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
These<\/span> showers<\/span> will<\/span> be<\/span> accompanied by gusty winds and<\/span> thunderstorms<\/span>. Citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures for<\/span> safety<\/span> during dust storms and strong winds.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
In Sindh, upper and southeastern districts are also likely<\/span> to experience<\/span> rain with thunder and lightning. Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shahdadkot, Thar, Mithi, and Islamkot may see<\/span> heavy<\/span> downpours<\/a>.<\/div>\n

Additional areas that<\/span> will<\/span> experience<\/span> rainfall<\/span> during<\/span> the<\/span> forecast<\/span> period<\/span> are<\/span> Dadu, Johi, Sehwan, Nawabshah, Qazi Ahmed, Hala, Matiari, Hyderabad, and Jamshoro.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\nThe PMD is<\/span> still<\/span> watching<\/span> weather patterns<\/span> and has advised<\/span> local administrations to stay<\/span> vigilant<\/span>.<\/div>\n

Islamabad –24<\/span> degrees centigrade, Lahore – 29<\/span>, Karachi –<\/span> 30<\/span>, Peshawar – 27<\/span>, Quetta – 26<\/span>, Gilgit –<\/span> 16<\/span>, Murree–<\/span> 15<\/span>,<\/span> and Muzaffarabad –<\/span> 20<\/span> degrees centigrade.<\/div>\n

The<\/span> weather forecast for<\/span> Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is<\/span> partly cloudy weather with spelling<\/span> rain and wind thunderstorms<\/span> in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Poonch<\/span>, Anantang<\/span>, Shopian, and Baramula.<\/div>\n
