{"id":76129,"date":"2025-05-31T13:38:54","date_gmt":"2025-05-31T08:38:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=76129"},"modified":"2025-05-31T13:39:51","modified_gmt":"2025-05-31T08:39:51","slug":"sindh-budget-fy2025-26-to-be-presented-on-june-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/sindh-budget-fy2025-26-to-be-presented-on-june-13\/","title":{"rendered":"Sindh budget for FY2025-26 to be presented on June 13"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: The budget for the next financial year <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/govt-may-delay-budget-presentation-due-to-eid-holidays\/\">(FY), 2025-26<\/a> of Province Sindh will be presented on June 13, according to media reports.<\/p>\n<p>The province&#8217;s chief minister, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/sports\/cm-murad-ali-shah-mohsin-naqvi-laud-naya-nazimabads-cricket-stadium\/\">Syed Murad Ali Shah<\/a>, who will give the budget address, had received a report from the Sindh finance department regarding the budget, media reports said, quoting sources.<\/p>\n<p>The budget is expected to offer a 15\u201320% pay increase for government employees as per the details.<\/p>\n<p>The Sindh cabinet will also convene to discuss and approve the budget on June 13, and it is anticipated that the provincial assembly will meet on June 12.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Finance Secretary Imdadullah Bosal confirmed that the upcoming federal budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 shall be tabled on June 10.<\/p>\n<p>The date for the Annual Plan Coordination Committee\u00a0(APCC)\u00a0 has not been announced yet, and the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting date may still be subject to change, said the Finance secretary.<\/p>\n<p>The Adviser to the Finance Minister, Khurram Shehzad, said in a post shared on his X handle that the budget shall be presented on June 10.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs communicated earlier, the upcoming Federal Budget FY26 is on schedule to be announced on June 10, 2025.
