{"id":76353,"date":"2025-06-02T17:14:55","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T12:14:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=76353"},"modified":"2025-06-02T17:14:55","modified_gmt":"2025-06-02T12:14:55","slug":"bahria-town-properties-to-be-auctioned-on-june-12","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/bahria-town-properties-to-be-auctioned-on-june-12\/","title":{"rendered":"Bahria town properties to be auctioned on June 12"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: An <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/govt-raises-rs-452-billion-through-t-bill-auction\/\">Auction<\/a> of several Bahria town properties is scheduled on June 12 at 11 am at the National Accountability Bureau regional office in Islamabad by the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nab-appoints-special-prosecution-team-in-al-qadir-case\/\">NAB<\/a>, according to media reports.<\/p>\n<p>Prominent properties such as Arena Cinema, Safari Club, Rubeish Marquee and Lawn, Bahria Garden City, Golf Course, Bahria Town Islamabad, and the Corporate Office in Phase 2 of Bahria Town shall be auctioned by the authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Before the auction, purchasers will also get a special briefing at the NAB headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative is a component of NAB&#8217;s continuous endeavors to retrieve assets and guarantee openness via public auctions.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had recovered over Rs 88 billion in the first quarter of 2025, according to official figures released on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The anti-corruption body\u00a0reported Rs two billion in direct recoveries and approximately Rs 86 billion in indirect recovered. mainly involving land reclaimed in corruption cases.<\/p>\n<p>The recovered funds and assets were returned to the affected government departments and institutions.<\/p>\n<p>A large portion of the recoveries came from housing and infrastructure scams, particularly from NAB Lahore, which recovered Rs 70 billion from the high-profile cases, including the Employees Cooperative Housing Society and Sarwar Omega Villas.<\/p>\n<p>In Balochitsanh, NAB recovered 590 acres of land valued at Rs 6.4 billion while NAB KPK retrieved Rs 560 million in a case involving Swat University and government departments.<\/p>\n<p>Nab sukkur reclaimed 610 acres of the National Highways Authority and Rs 8.5 billion, and NAB Multan reported Rs 13.2 million in the GFS Seven Wonders housing scheme case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: An Auction of several Bahria town properties is scheduled on June 12 at 11 am at the National Accountability Bureau regional office in Islamabad by the NAB, according to media reports.
