ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police on Tuesday arrested the suspect in the murder case of\u00a0TikToker Sana Yousaf<\/a>, and a weapon has been recovered.<\/p>\n

The police said that the accused<\/a>, who hails from Punjab, has confessed to the crime and that Yousaf\u2019s iPhone was also recovered from the suspect.<\/p>\n

Initial investigations reveal that the accused had prior contact with the victim, and the motive behind the killing was a personal grudge.<\/p>\n

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the swift action by law enforcement.<\/p>\n

In a post on X, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the Sana Yousaf murder case was resolved, the accused arrested, and the weapon recovered within 20 hours.<\/p>\n

“The incident occurred yesterday in Islamabad when a young girl was murdered by a masked accused. The accused was arrested just an hour ago.”<\/p>\n

The police have recovered the pistol and the iPhone of the deceased girl, and the accused has confessed to the murder as well, the minister added.<\/p>\n
