{"id":76504,"date":"2025-06-03T23:12:52","date_gmt":"2025-06-03T18:12:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=76504"},"modified":"2025-06-03T23:13:15","modified_gmt":"2025-06-03T18:13:15","slug":"nha-to-implement-major-motorway-toll-hike-from-june-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/nha-to-implement-major-motorway-toll-hike-from-june-15\/","title":{"rendered":"NHA to implement major motorway toll hike from June 15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The National Highway Authority (<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/chief-ministers-honhaar-scholarship-program-date-extended\/\">NHA<\/a>) has announced a significant increase in toll tax on all motorways in Pakistan, effective from June 15, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Under the new policy, vehicles without M-Tags or with insufficient balance will be charged an additional 50 percent.<\/p>\n<p>The move is aimed at increasing revenue and encouraging the use of M-Tags to improve traffic flow and improve motorway efficiency.<\/p>\n<h2>New toll rates include:<\/h2>\n<p>Islamabad to Lahore (M-2): Rs. 1800 for cars<\/p>\n<p>Lahore to Abdul Hakeem (M-3): Rs. 1200<\/p>\n<p>Pindi Bhattian to Multan (M-4): Rs. 1600<\/p>\n<p>Multan to Sukkur (M-5): Rs. 1800<\/p>\n<p>D.I. Khan to Hakla (M-14): Rs. 1000<\/p>\n<p>Hasan Abdal to Mansehra (E-35): Rs. 450<\/p>\n<p>For commercial vehicles:<\/p>\n<p>2-3 axle trucks (Lahore to Islamabad): Rs. 7900<\/p>\n<p>Articulated trucks: Rs. 10,200<\/p>\n<p>Authorities urge motorists to activate M-Tags and maintain sufficient balance before June 15 to avoid additional charges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced a significant increase in toll tax on all motorways in Pakistan, effective from June 15, 2025.
