But the<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/imf-agrees-to-income-tax-relief-for-salaried-class-in-upcoming-budget-2025-26\/\"> International Monetary Fund<\/a> (IMF) <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">could<\/span> take exception<span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">\u00a0to this <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">idea<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"><br \/>\nThe <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">subsidy<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">on<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">the interest rate <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">for 3 and 5 marla houses <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">might<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> be <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">around<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> Rs50 to Rs70 billion<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\"> on an annual basis<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">, but for 10 marla houses, the cost will <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">be higher.<\/p>\n<p>The <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">mortgage<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">financing<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">of<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> the country has <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">encountered<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">problems<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">and <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">raised the <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">matter<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> of stay orders from courts during the <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">payment<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> of outstanding <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">installments<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">of loans<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">.<\/p>\n<p>Legal <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">reforms<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> have been <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">undertaken<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">, but <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">additional<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> procedural requirements are <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">needed<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">to<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">establish<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">barriers<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> to <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">mortgage<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">finance <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">promotion <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>In recent <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">discussions<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">on<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> affordable housing, representatives from <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">nearly<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> all banks <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">complained<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">of<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">the legal <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">barriers<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> in recovering due installments<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">Hence<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">, before the <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">large-scale<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">promotion of <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">the <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">housing<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> and construction sector<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">, <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">consultation<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">has<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> been <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">made<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> with the Ministry of Law to address this<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">\u00a0issue.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The federal government is developing a strategy to provide a subsidy on interest rates for 3 and 5 marla houses in the next fiscal year&#8216;s budget of 2025-26.
