{"id":77141,"date":"2025-06-12T15:09:04","date_gmt":"2025-06-12T10:09:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=77141"},"modified":"2025-06-12T15:09:04","modified_gmt":"2025-06-12T10:09:04","slug":"kp-govt-to-present-budget-2025-26-on-june-13","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/kp-govt-to-present-budget-2025-26-on-june-13\/","title":{"rendered":"Kp govt to present budget 2025-26 on June 13"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"126\" data-end=\"470\">PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has finalised its budget for the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/heres-what-budget-2025-26-offers-for-real-estate-industry\/\">fiscal year 2025\u201326<\/a> with an expected outlay of over Rs2.18 trillion and\u00a0is expected to be presented in the provincial assembly on Friday, June 13.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"126\" data-end=\"470\">The officials said that the total expenditure for the year has been estimated at Rs1,962 billion, leaving the province with a projected surplus of Rs157 billion.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"674\" data-end=\"924\">A salary increase of 10 per cent for government employees and a 7 per cent raise in pensions have been proposed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"674\" data-end=\"924\">Furthermore, Rs680 billion is expected to be allocated for salaries and Rs200 billion for pensions, of which Rs189.6 billion will go to the settled districts and Rs4.4 billion to the tribal areas.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"926\" data-end=\"1109\">As per details, the government has finalized a development budget of Rs177.52 billion to fund 50 major projects in collaboration with international donor agencies, the state-run <em>APP<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"126\" data-end=\"470\">According to documents from the KP Department of Planning and Development, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank will be the leading contributors.<\/p>\n<div>This marks a significant increase from the current fiscal year\u2019s allocation of Rs112.14 billion in foreign-funded development projects, reflecting a growing focus on infrastructure, energy, health, and education.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The key proposed allocations include, KP Road Accessibility Project \u2013 Rs28.10 billion, KP Rural Roads Development Project \u2013 Rs22.40 billion, KP Cities Improvement Project \u2013 Rs18.20 billion, Balakot Hydropower Project \u2013 Rs11.20 billion, Integrated Tourism Development \u2013 Rs8.40 billion, Irrigation and Drainage Rehabilitation \u2013 Rs7 billion, Madyan Hydropower Project \u2013 Rs7 billion, National Health Support Program \u2013 Rs6.44 billion, Human Capital Investment (Health) \u2013 Rs5.88 billion, Human Capital Investment (Education) \u2013 Rs5.04 billion and Non-DHQ Hospital Revamping \u2013 Rs5.60 billion.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has finalised its budget for the fiscal year 2025\u201326 with an expected outlay of over Rs2.18 trillion and\u00a0is expected to be presented in the provincial assembly on Friday, June 13.
