{"id":77297,"date":"2025-06-13T20:57:46","date_gmt":"2025-06-13T15:57:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=77297"},"modified":"2025-06-13T20:57:46","modified_gmt":"2025-06-13T15:57:46","slug":"kp-govt-increases-salaries-on-govt-employees-in-budget-2025-26","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/kp-govt-increases-salaries-on-govt-employees-in-budget-2025-26\/","title":{"rendered":"KP govt increases salaries on govt employees in budget 2025-26"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: <span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">KP<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> government <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">has<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">declared a ten<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">\u00a0percent and a seven percent <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/sindh-cabinet-approves-increase-in-salary-pension-for-govt-employees-in-budget-2025-26\/\"><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">hike<\/span><\/a><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> in salaries and pensions, respectively, of its <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">workers<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> in the Rs 2,119 billion surplus budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">unveiled<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> on Friday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Aftab Alam <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">unveiled<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> the budget with <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">&#8216;<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">no new tax<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">&#8216;<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> and <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">stated<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> that the estimated annual <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">outlay<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> for the <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">upcoming<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> fiscal year 2025-26 would be Rs 1962 billion with a surplus of Rs 157 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">Announcing<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> the break-up, the finance minister <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">added<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> that provincial government is <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">hoping<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> to <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">receive<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> Rs 292.340 billion from the federal government for the merged tribal districts including Rs 80 billion current budget grant, Rs 39.600 annual development program, Rs 50 billion under AIP, Rs 42.740 billion as their share from other provinces and Rs 17 billion for TDPs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Aftab Alam <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">informed<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> that Rs 3.293 billion would <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">come<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">from PSDP, Rs 1506.92 billion from <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">federal receipts, Rs 129 billion from provincial own receipts, Rs 10.250 other receipts, Rs 291.340 billion from merged districts receipts, and Rs 177.188 billion from federal projects assistance.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The minister <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">stated<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">that Rs137.912 would be <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">received<\/span> <span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">under<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> one percent of the divisible pool on war on terror, Rs.<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">57.115 billion as direct transfer<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">\u00a0under the head of gas and oil royalty, <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">Rs58<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">.151 billion as windfall levy on oil, <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">Rs34<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">.580 as net hydel profit current year, and Rs71.410 as net hydel profit arrears.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PESHAWAR: KP government has declared a ten\u00a0percent and a seven percent hike in salaries and pensions, respectively, of its workers in the Rs 2,119 billion surplus budget for the fiscal year 2025-26 unveiled on Friday.
