Previously, Vienna was declared the best city to live in the world 3 consecutive times from 2022 to 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has released a list of the best cities to live in the world for 2025.<\/p>\n<p>In this list, 173 cities were ranked by taking into account various elements such as healthcare facilities, education, stability, infrastructure, and environment.<\/p>\n<p>Copenhagen achieved a perfect score in the areas of stability, education, and infrastructure; the second place was jointly held by Vienna and the Swiss city of Zurich.<\/p>\n<p>The Australian city of Melbourne came in fourth place, with the Swiss city of Geneva was 5th and the Australian city of Sydney was 6th.<\/p>\n<p>Only one Asian city is included in the top 10, which is the Japanese city of Osaka, which came in 7th place, while the New Zealand city of Auckland was also named the 7th best city in the world to live in.<\/p>\n<p>The Australian city of Adelaide was 9th, while the Canadian city of Vancouver was 10th.<\/p>\n<p>The list includes only one city from Pakistan, and that is Karachi, which is ranked 170th out of 173, compared to Karachi&#8217;s 169th place last year.<\/p>\n<p>If we talk about the most unlivable cities for living, the Syrian city of Damascus is ranked 173rd, followed by the Libyan city of Tripoli (172), Dhaka (171), and Algiers (169), while the Nigerian city of Lagos was ranked 168th.<\/p>\n<p>The report said that during 2024, there was a decline in global stability in Western Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the situation in Asia is not much better, and the risk of military conflicts has increased there.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The port city of Karachi has been named once again among the top five \u201cleast liveable cities\u201d, according to The Economist.
