{"id":77784,"date":"2025-06-17T19:22:13","date_gmt":"2025-06-17T14:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/?p=77784"},"modified":"2025-06-17T19:22:13","modified_gmt":"2025-06-17T14:22:13","slug":"pakistan-begins-evacuation-process-for-non-essential-officials-from-iran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pakistan-begins-evacuation-process-for-non-essential-officials-from-iran\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan begins evacuation process for non essential officials from Iran"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TEHRAN: The government of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/business\/gold-rates\/gold-prices-drop-rs-1000-per-tola-in-pakistan\/\">Pakistan<\/a> has decided to evacuate the families of diplomats and non-essential staff posted in Iran amid the ongoing Iran-Israel conflict, according to media reports.<\/p>\n<p>According to a senior <a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/fm-ishaq-dar-departs-for-three-day-china-visit\/\">Foreign Office<\/a> official, the families of diplomatic staff are being evacuated from Iran, and some non-essential staff are also being recalled from Iran.<\/p>\n<p>The senior Foreign Office official said that the Pakistani embassy and consulates in Tehran will continue to function as usual, and the Pakistani missions in Iran will remain functional.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, over 700 Pakistani citizens arrived in Pakistan by bus through the Taftan\u00a0border as the Iran-Israel conflict continues, according to immigration officials.<\/p>\n<p>Citizens, traders, and drivers were among the passengers\u00a0repatriated\u00a0from Iran, as per the officials, and proper security arrangements were in place due to the Iran-Israel conflict.<\/p>\n<p>Officials reported that three buses carrying 154 Pakistani students landed in Taftan from Tehran. They further stated that the students will be relocated to Pakistan House after their immigration process is complete.
