Monsoon currents have <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">arrived<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> in the upcountry, <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">poised<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">\u00a0to bring a spell of rainfall,<a href=\"https:\/\/dailyausaf.com\/en\/pakistan\/pmdc-introduces-new-syllabus-for-mdcat-2025\/\"> PMD<\/a><\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">&#8216;<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">s weather report\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">added<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">.<\/p>\n<p>Dust storm\/rainfall with\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">scattered<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">\u00a0heavy falls as well as hailstorms are\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">probable<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\"> in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Potohar region, and central Punjab districts from 20th to 23rd June with\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">brief<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">\u00a0gaps.<\/p>\n<p>Dust storms and rainfall are also <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">probable<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\"> in Balochistan<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">&#8216;<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">s Zhob, Barkhan, Musakhel, Kalat, South Punjab<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">&#8216;<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">s Dera Ghazi Khan, Multan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, and Sahiwal districts from 21st to 23rd June.<\/p>\n<p>While dust storms and rain are<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">expected in Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, and Jacobabad districts of Sindh from 22nd to 24th June. The rain spell is likely to <\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">ease<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">\u00a0very hot weather conditions gradually during the forecast period.<\/p>\n<p>The Met Office has also\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">warned<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">about<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited__WuRP8\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__added__LtuNJ\">possible<\/span><span class=\"Editor_t__not_edited_long__JuNNx\">\u00a0urban flooding in Lahore, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi\/Islamabad during the forecast period.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: The Met Office on Thursday\u00a0predicted\u00a0pre-monsoon rains\u00a0nationwide\u00a0from June 20th-23 as\u00a0wet currents penetrate from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea in the region.
