Israeli aggression poses a serious threat to regional peace.<\/p>\n<p>The Pakistani envoy has said that the Security Council should play its role for a ceasefire between Iran and Israel and diplomacy should be given another chance<\/p>\n<p>The parties should come to immediate talks, and peace should be ensured before the situation gets out of control.<\/p>\n<p>Asim Iftikhar said that the Israeli attacks are a violation of the UN Charter, and we stand with our Iranian brothers against Israeli aggression.<\/p>\n<p>The issue of Iran\u2019s nuclear program should be resolved through dialogue, and the International Atomic Energy Agency should work impartially.<\/p>\n<p>The Pakistani diplomat warned that Israel\u2019s actions, including attacks on Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, and Yemen, represent a pattern of unilateral belligerence that demoralises international norms.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK: Pakistan\u2019s UN envoy Asim Iftikhar has said that the Security Council should play its role in a ceasefire between Iran and Israel.
